Public Transport Planning and Permit Management

By building a comprehensive geo-database of all existing permits, their routes, and their timings, SPARC was able to identify gaps in the current service coverage and help the government improve it. This led to the implementation of a remarkable WebGIS-based permit management system that computerizes the entire permit issuance and management process.

Our innovative system has helped to eliminate the need for paper-based permits, making it possible for bus operators to apply for and obtain permits from remote locations. It also includes an integrated mobile application that provides commuters with real-time information on public transport services available at any location.

Overall, this innovative system created by our team is a prime example of how technology can be used to achieve maximum governance with minimal government intervention, improving public transport services.
