Spatial Data Infrastructure For Urban & Rural Area Management
SPARC has planned, designed, and implemented the Odisha Spatial Data Infrastructure (OSDI) as a state node of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) of India. The primary objective of OSDI is to provide Open Geospatial Data Services to various government departments, urban area authorities, and district authorities. OSDI also serves as a unified spatial data repository for different geospatial software applications developed for the state.
Users can access the OSDI data catalog to search and select the desired spatial data and metadata for their projects. This enables them to make informed decisions based on the available data. Additionally, the Map Viewer, which is specially designed for OSDI, allows users to view and analyze all available data layers in both 2D and 3D formats.
